Other — 1 Comment May 24, The drama, oh the drama! Blizzard recently released Patch 13 for the Starcraft II Beta and in doing so ended the beta as we knew and loved it. Instead, what these new features gave us was downtime, disconnects, an empty and utterly useless friends list and countless other headaches for players and Blizzard alike. Now I am not one to whine, but this is getting pretty ridiculous. It is near impossible to add friends with the fancy new system, it is totally useless trying to play custom games as every single one ends with someone disconnecting and the servers are being restarted or dropped every hour or two. The biggest problem here is that Blizzard is ignoring all of it, they are carrying on like nothing has happened at all, like they are still just prepping the biggest RTS release of the past decade for launch and succeeding at it. We have reason to believe that Treyarch has been in talks with the professional gaming community, and one of them in particular—Scump of Pro Team Optic—may have accidentally disclosed information about the company’s plans with Black Ops 2 through one of his recent commentary videos.

So in 3v3 we’re in copper, and in 2v2 we’ve been ranked initially in copper, but have gone up to gold, pretty much imho because as a decent player I think I’ve pretty much carried us there But in gold, we’re pretty much getting steam rolled, game after game

I have over wins and was matched against people who have less than Call me bad I dare you. That is not even close to the issue. Before the mmr remake, I played in high skill level and even had games where there were ‘s of spectators. I left one game, not even joking, the day it happened. Got low priority-now I am in normal. I know this isn’t how it is supposed to work. Rather than ask for investigation, I take on the challenge of reclaiming my spot having fun with it actually.

We crushed them so bad it was hard to even play. I wouldn’t be surprised if they never played again.

Matchmaking : starcraft

I’m gonna make this blog expecting about 3 followers, at the most, 2 of them friends of mine This blog will be about my quest to get into master’s league as random, 1v1 obviously. Currently i’m in bronze league, don’t really have any practice partners, haven’t played a whole lot of random, and am overall pretty far from a good player. When i do play my best i can generally beat even the top players in bronze, but i keep making stupid little mistakes, as i guess can be expected from someone who hasn’t played sc in a long time before getting sc2 and only played about games since.

I will keep playing protoss in 2v2 since i don’t think it would be fair to a random ally to play a race that i have played a total of like 10 league games as, none of them in team matches. So to summarize I will try to get into master’s league playing random and i will try to document the journey there.
